“A firmly rooted Medicine-Pediatrics program focused on academic excellence and quality the community has come to deserve.”

University at Buffalo Internal Medicine and Pediatrics

The Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatric Residency Training Program is a four-year program designed to prepare the physician for a career providing medical care to both adults and children and become board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

The program was established in 1981 in response to the growing interest of medical students for a graduate training program that provided a greater depth of knowledge and exposure to the medical care of individuals of all ages than was offered in a Family Practice Residency Program.
